Not really advisable to use lotion or powder if the child is less than a year old as much as possible. Pedia recommends to wait until 1 year para hindi na ganjn ka sensitive ang skin. But you still have to test the product on a smaller portion of the skin to see if there would be any allergic reaction.
1-year-olds can definitely have lotion applied to their skin! To my knowledge, the soonest babies can start having lotion applied is around 4 months of age.
You can now apply lotion to your baby at this age. Just make it sure na mild yung lotion na i-aapply mo kasi mayrong mga babies na sensitive ang balat. :)
