Would it hurt the baby?

When I cradle my newborn, sometimes his neck would fall backwards when I transfer him to his cot. Would it hurt the baby or cause any syndrome?

I don’t think it will cause any syndrome as it’s not continuous shaking. But I think you will need to support his neck and body as you do the transfer.
