When can I bring my baby to public Swimming pool?

i would recommend after 1.5 yo. i tried to bring my elder gal to swim at 8mths old. she got the virus from swimming pool and had high fever cum runny nose for a week. from then, i waited for her immune to be strong before she can swim again.
