When can I start travelling by air with my baby?

Generally, age will not affect your baby's ability to handle air travel. But it is advisable that you avoid unnecessary air travel shortly after your baby's birth. Remember that your baby does not have as strong an immune system as yourself and most airlines recirculate the air. So if somebody onboard has cold, for instance, there are chances your baby might catch the infection.
