At what temperature i need to give paracetamol . Pls advice. Urgent. Thank you.
According to this article, paracetamol does not really reduce temperature but rather used to offer some relief to those afflicted by the effects of fever. In other words, it will make your child feel less miserable (and probably you will feel better too). I also read that paracetamol is not necessary if a child has a low fever (perhaps under about 38.5 to 39°C). But it really depends on what your doctor has advised and your instincts too. Im advised by the doctor to give only when its high around 38 and never seems to drop after several sponging etc. I normally will starts to sponge baby when its around 37.5
