I would always point out two things: - bowleggedness is natural for babies until they reach a few years old because they're cramped inside the womb. - I always say "ang sakang is from tuhod to talampakan. When I wear my kid, they sit in an M position and reaches up to only behind his knees." How can that make my kid "sakang"?
I would say the truth. That "sakang or bowleggedness" is hereditary and has nothing to do with babywearing. Most people still lack knowledge on babywearing and sometimes the best way is to just ignore them if they judge you. Another route would be to invite them to join groups such as babywearing philippines.
