Gestational diabetes

What are the odds of getting GD in the next pregnancy if your first pregnancy was negative? Trying to avoid GD test 2nd time round. Thanks!

Hi Mama, Studies show that women who do not test positive for gestational diabetes in their first pregnancy are unlikely to test positive during their second pregnancy if both pregnancies occur during a four-year time span

My friend was positive in 1st pregnancy and negative in 2nd pregnancy. Gap to 1 year. As long as you eat healthy and not consume too much sugar
