What do you do to keep your kid busy while working at home?

We both get busy: me with my laptop and her with her toys. I don't care how much mess she will make as long as I can have my work done and that I'll just fix the house once work hours is over. But of course I don't simply leave her with stuff. I make sure that all that I leave with her are safe (no sharp thingys scattered, not baby-friendly clutters are swept aside, nothing will spill except her bottled milk, I position myself that I can see what she's up to etc.) And then of course when it's meal time, I put everything down and feed her and make some time too. You know working at home with baby can sometimes be stressful but it's all worth it if you're able to do your work without compromising your bonding with your child. And for sure to those whose kid is older (than mine who's just 1) they know better how to handle the situation and they're more likely the experts now ;)

It depends on how old is your kids. For my 4 years, I will print some math questions, colouring worksheet or setup some experiment for her to do. Normally the experiment like mixed colours or shaving cream painting which can keep her busy for quite some time. For my 15 months, I will let her sit in front of the computer on my lap with a keyboard that does not connect to my system to work on or let her crawl around with toys around her to play.

Admittedly, I let my yaya subtitute for me, but I insist my husband to do it so he can also have more bonding time with my son despite his busy schedule. I love watching them both play, hug and kiss each other. :) They usually watch basketball together. It keeps me inspired seeing my husband and son play and just adore each other. :)

My husband and I are both working from home. Alternate kami nagbabantay sa kids when the other is working. We also give them activities to do like coloring, lots of toys para hindi magsawa and we let them watch nursery rhymes on Youtube.

I usually let my boy crawl, I'll put toys around the area. I must say I'll oblige with whatever he wants as long as I can do some work. in between I'll take breaks and play with him.

i will let him be around me, put whatever toys i have in front him to play. If can, i will get a toy laptop so he can pretend play with me!
