What is the one thing you thought you needed before baby arrived, that turned out you didn't need at all?

1) Shoes -- babies outgrow these pretty fast. I suppose an infant doesn't need too many shoes. 2) Crib -- a friend of mine spent so much money on a crib only to have her baby sleep with her on the bed most of the time. Maybe instead of the crib, get a co-sleeper instead? 3) Toys -- maybe when they're a little older but do infants really need that many stuffed toys?
