I had my son during cny last year (2015). Note that the cny period lasts till 2 weeks before and after Chinese New Year. I was quoted $3200 during the regular (non cny) period and during cny was quoted between $3800 - $4200.

My nanny was pretty flexible on the price. Her regular charges were $2300 and for cny period was about $3000. I knew because I asked for my cousin who will deliver during cny period.
Normally CL charges higher rate during cny period, easily more than $3k compared to normal rate $2.7k. If you want to book CL during cny, please secure a CL as soon as possible.
