What ingredients in product of hair or skincare which is prohibited during pregnancy?
Eh, this is a good question lah! Ingredients like retinol, salicylic acid in high doses, benzoyl peroxide, dan some essential oils are ones doctors usually say to avoid during pregnancy because of potential risks to baby. Since pregnancy skincare can be tricky, I'd suggest checking with your gynae or a dermatologist to get a personalized list, a few of my mum friends did that and felt so much more confident about what they were using. The safest bet is looking for products specifically labeled pregnancy-safe and breastfeeding-safe (Mama's Choice products are made with this in mind, for example), tapi always double-check the ingredient list yourself or ask your doctor first!
