Super Mum

Ensure a well-balanced diet with all food groups (carbohydrates, protein, fibre-fruits and vegetables). Continue a low salt diet and avoid too much sugar/artificial flavours. Soft food that don’t require too much chewing are probably good. Some examples: Carbs-rice, pasta, noodles, bread, potatoes Protein-chicken/pork/beef/fish, eggs (if no allergies), tofu, beans Fibre- carrots and other roots (steamed to soften them), cooked bell peppers, papaya, banana, melons, grapes, blueberries, etc
