What does it mean when my baby turns her head from side to side really quickly every time she rouses from her sleep? She's been doing this since birth and no, it's not because she's hungry and looking to latch. Could it be that her neck is itchy or she's feeling warm and trying to cool down?

This movement of head actually is a way your baby soothes herself to sleep. My son had it when he was a few weeks old, and it goes away once I gave him pacifier. The head turning will goes away eventually once your baby found a new way to sooth herself to sleep.
