Yes, the mother can have some control over childbirth and rest assured that she's in safe hands unlike in vaginal delivery where anything might go wrong anytime. Second, healing is different — the mother has a cut/stitch in the lower abdomen but her private parts are still intact the way before childbirth. Natural birth involves some tearing of the vagina and sex is painful for some time. It usually takes some months before regular sex life is revived. In case of c-section, after the stitches have healed and uterus has gone back to normal size, with the go-ahead of the ob/gyn, pre-delivery sex life can be enjoyed.
