I will give around primary 5-6. Or when I feel they are able to be responsible and not let it affect studies

May be primary student can give , as we really need to know where they r when they r coming or going ..

I would give my child a smartphone after they turn 12 to be able to check in on him from time to time.

From 6 yr i think as they explore more,they use smartphone can learn more

As long as you control the screen time. You can start after 1years old

Actually never in theory. Practically delay as much as you can.

Maybe when they start attending secondary school...
