What age baby can swim in public

Oh this is a good question lah, I also wondered about this when my baby was young! Generally most places in Singapore recommend babies to be at least 6 months old before going into public pools, and by then their immune system is a bit stronger to handle the chlorine and environment. But hor, always check the specific pool rules first because some condos and SAF/SAFRA pools have their own minimum age requirements, and make sure baby is not sick and has no open wounds before bringing them in, and always use a proper infant float or swim vest and never leave them unattended even for one second in the water!
