No heartbeat at 7 weeks 5 days

Just went for my gynae appt today and gynae can’t detect any heartbeat. He refer me for more detail scan tomorrow at the hospital. Anyone experienced this before with no heartbeat detect at 7 weeks+ but still continue to have a smooth pregnancy?
