First trimester with spotting / light bleeding

Hi, just want to check if it’s common to have spotting / light bleeding for week 5 pregnancy ? I do also have cramps on lower abdomen and afraid it’s miscarriage.

yes it’s common and normal. as long as it’s not fresh blood that stain a whole panty liner

I have a friend who had this light bleeding before. She has her rainbow baby now. Some doctor say it’s implantation bleeding. Some women experience this during first trimester
