Last trimester problem..

Hi all. Want to ask your experience & opinion. first time mother, Im now at week 39. past 2 weeks, my tummy feel tight quite often & night time become so difficult to sleep (baby movement is normal not that active though). Before I can sleep around 10 PM & now I can only sleep around 3 AM because I often feel my tummy was so tight & I feel so heavy & uncomfortable especially on my upper tummy (below breast there). I also can’t take nap in the afternoon anymore like before because same issue like in the night time. 😓😓 Is anyone experiencing same things? Is it normal things to happen for mummy on last trimester or because baby grow bigger & no space or maybe early sign of labor 🤪

Tightening in the stomach is called braxton hicks and it's really common especially in the 2nd & 3rd trimester. Your cervix is softening and preparing for labour later on. Take note that it shouldn't feel painful. I'm almost 31 weeks and feeling it quite often. Can be very uncomfortable, yes so try to change your position when it comes. You could also be dehyrated so drink alot of fluids.
