The birth plan generally has requests from the mummy about how they would like the birthing experience to be, whether it’s put in writing or expressed verbally. Those who write/type it out usually pass the birth plan to the staff in the delivery suite. This may include: -pain relief (preferences) -the room’s environment during the labour -husband/partner’s involvement in the labour process -requests regarding cutting the cord -what to do with the placenta

Yes - I included requests such as for husband to cut the umbilical cord, and skin to skin contact immediately after birth for example
