Turning 38wks tmr and bby still breech. Chances for csect are high. What should i expect from a csect. Should i make it elective csect or should i just wait for labour and go for emergency csect? Can i be awake during the op or will i be put to sleep? And can my husband be there? Definitely not ready for csect as ive been aiming for natural birth from start but bby not giving any sign of turning even despite ecv being done.

If your chances are high, best to go straight for elective csect for cost and expediency reasons. Also, not all hospitals allow husbands into the operation theater for emergency csect. For both you can choose to be awake or sleep.
