Kkh newborn rooming in with mummy

Is it true that newborn will room in with the mummy assuming you have a vaginal birth with epidural? Even through the first night?! 😳

Hi Yeap! I just gave birth 7 weeks ago and my LO roomed with me however when I was really exhausted I informed the nurse,she was kind enough to take him into the observation ward so that my husband and I could rest for awhile 😉

Ahhh, nice to know they will take the baby to the observation ward of the mummy is too tired. :)

Yup, i believe any type of birth will have the rooming in practice.
