A triple marker screen test takes a sample of blood and detects the levels of AFP, HCG, and estriol in it. ... HGC: A hormone produced by the placenta. Low levels may indicate potential problems with the pregnancy, including possible miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. If your dr has suggested pls get the test done and dont worry it a part of all the checks during pregnancy.wish u luck

You can check with your gynac. As, the results of the blood test can help your doctor see if your baby may be at higher risk for certain birth defects.

First you need to get the ultra sound and then u can go for dual and triple marker test.......
