Hi mum, I remember becoming super aware of all kinds of body changes in first tri also and suddenly noticing veins I never paid attention to before. Pregnancy can make veins look more obvious because of increased blood flow, but if the tenderness is new, getting painful, warm, swollen, or only happening on one side more intensely, I would just mention it to your gynae at your next visit or check earlier if you feel uneasy.
