Bathing the baby....

Hi all, as the title says.. currently we bathe the baby in one tub of water, put him in and and then soap him in the same tub and wash him up. Everything seems to be fine but I’ve been wondering, since we Soap and wash in the same Tub and water sometimes he bite his toys maybe his finger with soap... does it matter? Or is it that the baby soap is very Mild and meant for baby to bath Like this hence little Consumption it’s ok. So Far my baby Is 7 mths has all along no issue bathing this way. Is this how you guys bath your toodler if not how should we do it? Thank you
