OGTT

Any tips on how to get through OGTT? I went for it just now and puke everything out after painfully holding it in for 30 mins. The glucose drink is just too much for me after fasting for so long. So the test was void and need to retake. The experience was horrible and I feel phobia about trying again. I'm thinking to just skip it but read that if I do have GD and didn't take precautions it can be threatening to my baby :(

Before you fast n sleep that night perhaps you can have a little supper. Within 5mins, you can time yourself, sip a little by little first then finish it all. Listen to music, or read magazine/books. Try not to think about the taste. The more you think, you will feel like vomit. To me, it really felt like redbull that strong. I felt sugar rush. as if like “ finally I can drink sugary drinks “ 😅
