No vitamins yet for baby?

hi. are there any mums out there who do not give vitamins to their babies since birth? my hubby doesnt believe in vitamins, he says its just all chemicals. I compensate by giving as much fruits to my babys meal as much as possible. shes already 11mos now. shes growing well, but I still think she needs vits. any mummies whos same with me? tia!

Everything is chemicals... Fruits, vitamins are all made of chemicals. When they go in they will be broken down also so their body can absorb it. So vitamins are not dangerous but might not be necessary if your baby is growing well. Most doctors recommend vitamin D3 and iron. Both are important and usually lacking in babies. But if your baby drinks formula milk its actually OK since formula milk already contains all necessary vitamins.
