Is it too early to start shopping for baby items?

Too early. As a first time mom who bought a lot of things in preparation of my first child, I learnt that it may not be a bad idea to buy after your child is born. I got mesh baby carrier and Hegen bottles for my baby. However, I realised my baby is not suited for Hegen bottle, probably due to the shape of the teat, which caused her to choke while drinking. I switched to Pigeon bottles and didnt encounter such issue. Likewise, my baby cried murder whenever I placed her in a mesh carrier.. after a lot of trial and error, she is most comfortable with Tula carrier. What we want or think our babies need may not be what is suited for our babies. :)
