Contract worker and maternity leaves

Hi there! I would like to know what is a good time to share pregnancy news to the company? I’m a term contract worker, and have been working with this company for about one year. My contract ends in September. The contract offered is every 6 months. My EDD is in December. I’m wondering if they would recontract me if I share with them too early. Anyone have similar experience?

That imperfect trying mum

If you worked more than 3 months with the company, you’ll be entitled to paid maternity leave. I think you should inform them early so they can plan for someone to cover your duties
