Maternity Leave

Hello there. I am just curious if we are allowed to request for HL from gynae till the day I give birth? I am currently 34 weeks and WFH. I am not planning to take ML 1-2 weeks before EDD if I could request for HL. #advicepls

From my understanding, gynae will not voluntarily give it to you. So you have to request. Depends on gynae but they usually won’t reject. Just how much days they want to grant you. I had 3weeks HL.
