GD test at SKGH

Hi there, anyone here seeing a gynae at Sengkang General Hospital too? May I ask what's the process of the GD test? Doing mine next week. A bit nervous on what's going to happen after drinking the glucose water.. TIA! #glucose

I took mine at SKGH. They will ask u to do fasting then morning 8am go for a blood test, and they will pass you a glucose drink , 2nd hour they will take another blood test and 3rd hour will be the last blood test… Then afternoon see doctor to review..

I stay pretty nearby so for the first 3 test , I sat around the 2 hours and went home after my last tube of blood..

Hi, I’m not seeing a gynae at SKGH, but for GD test, you’ll be asked to take a first blood test, before drinking the glucose water. Subsequently, you will need to take another 2 blood tests at an hour’s interval each.
