Sis, honestly ang experience talaga varies so much! A few of us tried the pineapple at 36+ weeks and got some dilation (one friend went from 1cm to 3.5cm), but then there's also the stories where women took evening primrose all the way to 41 weeks and nothing happened yet, so it's not a guarantee, you know? The evening primrose is supposed to help soften and thin out the cervix, which could shorten labor if it does happen, pero not everyone gets results right away. At 39 weeks with a still-closed cervix after 2 weeks of pineapple and 5 days of evening primrose, it might just mean your body's not ready yet, and that's totally okay din, baby will come when the time is right! Definitely worth checking with your OB though about what they think, especially since you're already this far along.
