Spotting after intercourse

for myself, after intercourse.. my period will always be delayed for a few days (eg mine is usually 1-7th of the month, but maybe 3rd or 4th of the month my period came. so delayed but still came. and i usually just check for pregnancy since we're hoping for one right 😅 but it will turn out negative) . but the last one before i decided to take the pregnancy test and had a confirm pregnancy, i told myself to wait till i missed my whole cycle. so maybe to not put your hopes high, wait till you missed the whole cycle then have it checked.
