He on and off knock his head at wall or floor, just a light one, he don’t respond quick to his name, and he don’t speak yet, is it normal? Dr said high risk autism, so I’m so worry.

Sayang, I can really feel your worry, and please know you are not alone in this. Some mums I know have mentioned that head banging, not responding to name, and speech delay together were early signs they noticed too, so your doctor's concern is worth taking seriously rather than waiting. My friend brought her son to Klinik Kesihatan early and was referred quite quickly to a developmental paediatrician through the government system, and she said the earlier the assessment and therapy starts, the better the progress tends to be, so do push for that referral if you haven't already. Every child is different, and a high-risk flag does not always mean a confirmed diagnosis, but it does mean early intervention and proper screening is very important right now. Please do follow up closely with your paediatrician or ask to be referred to a developmental specialist who can give a proper evaluation, as they will guide you far better than any of us can. You are doing the right thing by asking, you are a good mother.
