Urine smell

Hello mummies, anyone experienced papaya smell when urinating or pooping, though you didn’t eat any papaya? It has been recurring for weeks since pregnancy, but nurse said maybe it’s my pregnancy symptom. Will the smell go away? Cos i hate papaya, and the smell quite strong. During scans, also didn’t show any abnormality. Just wondering if it’s normal for pee/poo to have strong “sweet” smell. #pregnancy

Hi mummy! I had something similar during pregnancy before also like weird strong or sweet-ish urine smell that came and went, even when I didn’t eat anything like that 😅 From what I know and what my gynae told me at the time, pregnancy hormones + changes in diet, hydration, and how the body processes sugar can sometimes change urine smell quite a bit.
