Doc Jasmine, ask ko lang nakainom po kasi ako ng Neozep nung second week ng pagbubuntis ko. That time, hindi ko alam na buntis na pala ako. Nalaman kong bawal pala sa buntis yun. May mangyayaring masama kaya sa baby ko sa tiyan? nagwoworry po ako. so far sa mga ultrasounds ko naman wala namang mga bad feedback or anything negative. Ano ba risk nito?

Based on the product insert ng Neozep, Pregnancy Risk is Category C for phenylephrine; Category B for paracetamol and chlorphenamine.Category C means Risk cannot be ruled out. There are no satisfactory studies in pregnant women, but animal studies demonstrated a risk to the fetus; so potential benefits of the drug may outweigh the risks. The best management for this po is monitoring the development of the fetus closely po. But dont stressed yourself too much mommy, kasi di rin sya okay for the baby.
