I am not a single mom but i have had my dalliance with depression, plz know that you are not alone. depressive thoughts can be isolating and dangerous. I'm not sure what kind of support system you have but plz seek professional help or atleast talk to someone about your current situation. if you feel you are a danger to yourself or to your LO do not hesitate to reach out to others and if possible get someone to help you take care of your LO for the time being. do not take drastic legal decisions when you are not in the right frame of mind.

It must be so difficult to be in your position right now and your fears are valid. you are very brave for sharing how you feel, but please talk or share this with someone who can lend a helping hand. it's not easy being a mother, but do know that you are stronger than you think you are! I'm sure you are already trying your very best! keep striving to be the best version of yourself for your kid. :)

Postpartum depression can be real. And I am sure being a solo mum makes it harder. Have u seen someone to help you with what you are feeling? I would say don’t make any big permanent decisions about baby’s future until you are in a better head space. Maybe joint custody or asking your ex to take baby more often for now?

Hi I am a single mum too! It will be good to reach out to someone to talk to , to find the root problem of your depression and suicidal thoughts! I had my fair share of depression thoughts too but nowadays I learn to keep myself occupied and do better for my baby !
