Keeping pregnancy silent for the first trimester allows the mommy and daddy to absorb and celebrate the new baby joining them soon. This is also a period of adjustments. No need to stress on expectations, comments, meddling of other people.
not necessarily but soon is much better because the first trimester is very sensitive for babies developent in case you are working or doing something it can help other to understand others your situation
I told my immediate family as soon as we got the first ultrasound around 7.5 weeks! But only told a few friends around week 12 and a few more by week 20. It's really up to you, we were very excited!
I personally waited for 14 weeks as I wanted to get my full medical report done to make sure everything was okay before I told anyone. :)
It depends on you, you can announce the good news anytime you are comfortable with
I announced mine at 2weeks, couldn't hold it back
my 1st scan was at 6_ weeks and i told close friends and family
