Hi! Should I go for an ultrasound at week 6? Or is it too late/early?

hi i just did the scan yesterday (at 5.5-6) weeks based on my hcg result and only saw a sac. Doc ask me to come back again 2 weeks later for another scan. May I know at what week did you see the baby through the scan? thanks
