which public hosp to go?
hello, should i go for KKH or NUH? anyone able to share their experiences? i’m being referred to KKH but recently heard a few comments about KKH’s doctor isn’t very experienced. restitched the wound twice now i’m afraid
I gave birth at KKH just last November & was on the subsidised route all the way. I chose ware B2 but was upgraded to B1. I’d say my experience was all smooth from my first check up till I gave birth. The doctors and nurses were all kind. During check ups it was with different doctors each visit. For some it might not be to their liking. But I’m ok with it and I have to the opportunity to get different opinions. Normally the nurses will be helping you during labour while the doctor on duty will pop by once in awhile to check. But I’m lucky that a doctor was the one who help me during delivery. It just happened that I suddenly dilated to 9cm when she was checking on me. I guess it’s up to your expectations and how flexible you are. Plus if you have any preferred gynae. Hope the above helps!
