Hi! I started as a VA, then eventually found a job na pasok talaga sa background ko which is HR Manager. Things to consider are having a stable internet connection and reliable pc/laptop. First is gumawa ka ng magandang CV or Curriculum Vitae/Resume. It should highlight your skills and work experiences kasi yan ang unang tinitignan ng client. Minsan kapag sablay sa CV palang, hindi na nila iniinvite for interview. Next is sign up for online jobs platforms such as Upwork and Onlinejobs.ph. Also create a Linkedin Account that will serve as your online CV, minsan may job opportunities din na napopost sa Linkedin. Better din kung gagawa ka or setup a bank account or paypal account para magamit mo kapag sumusweldo ka na. Next is try to find your niche, iba-iba kasi ang klase ng VA. Kung wala kang idea ano ginagawa ng VA, google it. Magresearch para magkaroon ka ng background kung ano mga tasks ang gagawin mo once you are hired. Final is apply. Search for jobs that fits your skills and apply. :) Being a homebased worker has a lot of perks. Talagang mas malaki ang kita compared sa office based jobs but you need to invest time on learning things at make sure you do your best to sell yourself. Goodluck! :)
