I've came across a forum with some commenting that doctor vanaja does not really promote water birth as an option. That being said, she is still a professional doctor. Best would be to speak to her and base your decision on your own interactions with her.

doctor vanaja is really popular and her waiting time can go up to 3-4 hours per my friends experience
