My daughter was assigned to dr ang ai tin after being delivered at Thomson. The very day of birth, she was admitted to NICU and stayed in there for 3 days. Let me be very honest, this doctor may be experienced in what she does but definitely lack empathy, kindness and EQ. She said my daughter had an infection that needed immediate treament, put her on antibiotics for 3days and after 3 days, we were told it will continue for another 11 to 17days which is then we decided to bail her out and insisted on a hospital transfer. This doctor did not speak to us in layman terms and definitely made us, first time parents look and sound like complete idiots. Also not to mention, she's extremely defensive and impatient. I could barely digest what she was saying because all she does is drown us with her bombastic medical terms, her tonality and attitude was as good as "please don't waste my time as I have better things to be busy with". She talked us through that a hospital transfer will be tedious but she will "try to help us". And the very day that we've gotten a bed at SGH, right before switching hospital while doing the paperworks, her last words for me as a new mom was "you could have lost your child" along with the line that it was her acute judgement which saved my child's life. After speaking to another PD and to the medical professionals at our current hospital, it didn't seem like her claim that I could have lost my child was accutate. For new parents, I strongly recommend you to do your job in finding the right PD if you're delivering at Thomson or wherever else it is to avoid such distress at all cost. As a warning, no one should go through the hell we've put put through. It is an awful, miserable and distressing experience all in all.

My son has been visiting dr ang ai tin since he was 5 months old. She is an extremely hands-on doctor always available when needed. His diagnosis is always spot on and what is comforting even more is how she patiently explains the health issue clearly along with the treatment she is proposing. She is very friendly with the child too. We have been very comfortable consulting her online too during the pandemic. Highly recommend her as a child specialist.
dr ang ai tin alls a spade a spade and is very direct . She’s v accurate on diagnosis n very thorough. Being a ftm , I have brought my child to see her some instances when I was worried n it was nothing and she will be fast and say nothing to worry about. She’s not the tlc type of dr who just say nice things only but she’s v effective,professional nice and caring towards kids . Rates are standard pte pD rates from 120-150.

dr ang ai tin is a very professional PD and well known in TMC. Dr Ang charges is pretty higher then the private clinics, however there is still a long queue to seek consultation from her. When I delivered at TMC, the package for jabs cost around $1.9+. This price was similar to Dr Heng at Kidslink and my baby is still visiting Dr Heng due to the travelling journey.
My child is visiting this same doctor, as I see the comments on this doctor, but yes she might be look rush. But assuming the illness is accurate, she listens to parents well, but so far we have positive experience since my boy started allergic reaction we used to go to the same doctor, and never referred for unnecessary tests ..
dr ang ai tin is very careful and cautious about everything. I feel safe whenever I take my child to her. She is trustworthy and stands by you whenever you need her. Since birth whenever I faced any minor issues for the baby as a new mother we tend to get tensed, Dr. Ang Ai Tin is just a call away and is very approachable.
Every time when we see dr ang ai tin , she is like rushing for nowhere, although she might be very experienced but she just can’t convince me to admit my child after her less than 5 mins diagnosis. I need doctor to be more patient and take time to explain especially paediatric. Me personally will not recommend for sure
dr ang ai tin is very detailed in her screening, I quite liked her, but expect a short consultation with her. I saw her quite a long time ago (maybe 7 years?), so her charges might be diff now! other mummies do you guys know how much her charges are?
