I have a graco pack n play playpen but my boy can only spend at most 10 minutes in it as it feels very constricted. I would suggest getting a play yard instead as they can be more mobile in it when they crawl or cruise around. 5 panels and up would be best. I bought a 6-panel and a 8-panel haenim play yard from carousell at less than $100 - preloved but in good condition!
Graco playpen is good - but consider getting a play yard instead as baby will outgrow the playpen very soon. Once baby can crawl and climb it's a different story. Haenim play hard is good, but also check out nihon ikuji .... number 1 selling musical plastic play yard in the world. unbeatable quality and safety features.
Yes i agree with mummy jesslyn, playpen is too restricted and basically work the same like baby cot. Play yard is better, more space and easy to keep too. That how i close it, when i'm done for the day.
Toys R Us has a wide range of playpens that are inexpensive and pretty decent in terms of quality. They also have play yards. http://www.toysrus.com.sg/playpens-and-playards/
