You can make that request when you get admitted to the delivery suite:) but let your gynae know beforehand to see if there are any contraindications and things to look out for:) (eg. You can’t do that if you eventually opt for epidural, or if your blood pressure is too low, or baby’s heartbeat is unstable in that position). All the best!
