I asked before sa OB ko bakit hindi pwede ang husband sa regular private hospitals (affiliated kasi sya sa isang regular private hospital and sa Asian). Sabi nya, sa mga regular private hospitals kasi usually magkadikit/magkasama yung delivery room at operating room, minsan curtain lang ang divider. So they need to limit the number of persons inside. Sa Asian (or big hospitals allowing husbands during delivery), may sariling birthing room ka. Pero syempre, mas mahal sya compared regular private hospitals. Halos 2-3x ang cost for normal delivery.
Yes, depende sa hospital. I suggest magtanong na kayo as early as now sa target hospital mo na aanakan if the would allow husbands to be with you during labor until lumabas si baby. So far, here in Manila, big hospitals like The Medical City, Makati Med, Asian Hospital and St. Luke's have packages which allow the husbands to be inside the Delivery Room.
