No heartbeat detected at Week 7 4 days

#pregnancy #pleasehelp #advicepls Went for my first vaginal scan at Week 7 4 days and was told that baby was measuring at 1.2cm and no heartbeat was detected. Changed room and tried another scan and still no heartbeat detected. Doctor said that it may had just happened this 1 or 2 days as the baby had already grown to 1.2cm which usually should be around 1.26cm. She then straight away classified as missed miscarriage and ask if I want to wait for it to come out by itself and induce with medication. I took the medication option and still haven’t had the courage to try that as I was hoping that it maybe undetected heartbeat. Should I try and wait for further scan or just induce it with medication? I don’t want to kill my baby just like that.

Maybe you can try and get a second doctor’s opinion before making a decision
