you can't just tell a baby's gender by looking at the mom's tummy. 😄ultrasound is still your best option to be sure. my obgyne told me that the heartbeat can also sometimes give you the gender of the baby (faster heartbeat for girls, slightly slower for boys but I forgot the number of beats per minute). she told me I was probably having a baby boy (hadn't done ultrasound at the time) because of the slower heartbeat and she was right
