Primrose oil can really induce labor ??

Hello po momshies, First time mom here and afraid na mag overdue. Due ko na sa August 23 and still no sign of labor. Ask ko lang po if safe ba uminom ng Evening primrose oil to soften my cervix and mag start nang mag labor ?
