Ay sis, hindi ko alam ng buo ang latest SSS rules kasi palaging may updates, pero from what I know you can contribute as a voluntary member if you're no longer employed, a few of us moms did this para ma-maintain ang benefits! Best talaga na mag-inquire directly sa nearest SSS branch or call their hotline para sure sa exact requirements para sa maternity benefits, kasi depende sa contribution history mo at kung gaano karaming months na dapat mong naka-contribute bago maging eligible.
